The PARSON MANHOLE INSERT-V2P is manufactured from high density polyethylene and has been proven effective in reducing or preventing surface water inflow to the collection system, through the manhole lid. Operating, utility and maintenance costs for plant equipment and pumps are minimized, due to reduced flow during heavy rainfall. |

PHYSICAL PROPERTIES:
The PARSON MANHOLE INSERT-V2P is manufactured from High Density Polyethylene, meeting the requirements of ASTM D-1248, Class A, Category 5, Type III. These inserts come equipped with 1 gas relief valve, 1 vacuum relief valve, a cross-linked polyethylene gasket and the nylon lifting strap.
INSTALLATION:
No special tools are required to install PARSON MANHOLE INSERTS-V2P. Just remove the manhole cover and clean the rim of the frame. Place the PARSON MANHOLE INSERT-V2P on the manhole frame rim and replace the manhole cover.

PARSON ODOREATER is a specially designed Manhole Insert, with the addition of a canister containing 20 lbs. of activated carbon, which traps and stores unpleasant hydrogen sulfide and methyl mercaptan odors. Purified air is then allowed to ventilate into the atmosphere through the canister lid. A one-way valve (to right of canister) allows water to drain, but no air to pass through it. |
ADVANTAGES:

- Will not interfere with installation or removal of the manhole cover.
- Unit (excluding carbon) is guaranteed for one year against manufacturing defects.
- Twenty-pound bags of replacement carbon are available.
- Does not require routine maintenance and carbon can be replaced without removing the entire unit from the manhole.

Due to varying levels of H2S concentration, this chart should assist in estimating the expected life span of the activated carbon.

INSTALLATION:
No special tools are required to install PARSON ODOREATER MANHOLE INSERTS. Just remove the manhole cover and clean the rim of the frame. Place the PARSON ODOREATER MANHOLE INSERT, without the canister, on the manhole frame rim. Remove the canister lid and place the canister through the hole in the insert. Empty the 20 lb. of activated carbon into the canister and replace the canister lid. Reinstall the manhole cover onto the frame.
