The E3000 Series metering pump is a heavy-duty industrial metering pump designed for continuous duty in the most demanding applications. The E3000 Series is available with any number of heads from 1 to 6.

GEARBOX
The drive mechanism is totally enclosed within a rigid cast iron case and is fully immersed in an oil bath. A precision-machined drive piston is connected directly to the diaphragm. The drive piston has a large diameter and close fit, resulting in smooth operation as the piston and associated connecting rod and main shaft mounted eccentric, convert the rotary input motion from the drive motor to the reciprocating motion required by the diaphragm. A bronze worm wheel and hardened steel pinion provide the speed reduction from the high motor input speed to the low pump-stroking rate. The main shaft bearings are pre-loaded tapered roller bearings with high thrust and radial load carrying capacity.

MOUNTING BRACKET
A sturdy cast iron universal mounting bracket provides a choice of mounting arrangements for the pump. All pumps may be floor mounted and simplex model pumps may also be wall mounted.

PUMP HEAD
The pump is available with a combination of different size diaphragm and plunger heads. In multiplex pumps, all the heads will have the same stroking rate. Special configurations are available so that individual heads can stroke at different rates if required. A total pump capacity in excess of 44,000 GDP (7000 l/hr) is possible. The pump heads are available in any commercially available grade of metal or plastic.

VALVES
The ball check valves are precision double type (single on 100H and 150H head size) utilizing precision machined valve seats, in conjunction with high quality balls manufactured to exacting standards, to maintain high metering accuracy over a long period of time, with minimal maintenance. Valve connections are screwed as standard with the option of flanges. For slurry service, hardened valve seats are available.

CAPACITY CONTROL
Each individual pump is fitted with a precision micrometer adjustment. When required for automatic operation, each pump head can be fitted with either an electric or pneumatic stroke length positioner so that the individual capacity of each head can be set by an external process controller. The addition of a variable speed controller for the drive motor provides the E3000 Series pump with limitless capacity control for the most demanding process system requirements.

DRIVE MOTOR
The E3000 Series pump is available in many configurations specifically designed to meet the application requirements. Motors and controls are available for proportional control, manual control and pneumatic control.

WARRANTY
Each pump has a 1-year warranty from date of shipment. The diaphragm has a 5-year warranty from date of shipment.
