Multiple Head Capabilities

The E2500 is an industrial chemical metering pump, available in simplex, duplex or triplex configuration.

FRAME AND GEARBOX
The pump features a mechanically linked diaphragm, driven by an oil immersed worm/wheel reduction gearbox, which in turn, is driven by a close-coupled electric motor. The pump utilizes a rigid, one-piece cast iron frame to ensure rigidity between all components. The frame is provided with an oil drain and separate oil fill/breather. The oil fill is positioned so that oil is added until it overflows; the oil level is then at the correct operating level and cannot be overfilled. The four integrally cast hold down feet are machined so that the pump is ready for mounting.

SOLUTION HEAD
Six sizes of solution heads combined with 5 stroking rates result in the pump having a capacity range from .76 to 7304 GPD (0.12 to 1152 liters/hour) in triplex design, with discharge pressures to 290 PSI (2000 kpag), depending on head size and material. Head materials in PVC, POLYPROPYLENE and 316SS in conjunction with a PTFE diaphragm mean that the pump is able to handle a wide range of industrial chemicals.

VALVES
The 2500 Series utilizes screw in valves in the same materials as the solution head. A variety of ball check materials including stainless steel, ceramic, Pyrex, PTFE and Hastalloy. The valve assemblies are fully serviceable with all components being replaceable. For products with a high viscosity such as polymer solutions, the valves are available with springs to assist in positive valve operation.

CAPACITY CONTROL
The pump's output can be manually adjusted via a precision micrometer adjustment set to operate between 10-100% of the pump rated capacity. A variable speed controller used in conjunction with the standard 3-phase motor can also be used to operate the pump between 20-100%. The variable speed controller can accept a 4-20 mA signal from an external process controller to provide automatic capacity adjustment control.

DRIVE MOTOR
The 2500 Series pump is available as standard with a 1/2hp, 1-phase, 115/208-230 VAC, 60hz 1725 rpm, TEFC industrial motor suitable for outdoor industrial use. Optional 3-phase or DC motors are available on request.

WARRANTY
Each pump has a full 1-year warranty from date of shipment. The Diaphragm has a 5-year warranty from date of shipment.
